Wasteful Aston Villa Fall At The Hands Of Sheffield United
Sheffield United this Saturday beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Bramall Lane with Fleck scoring a brace in the second half.
The hosts got their breakthrough goal on 50 minutes, with Fleck firing home at the near post after a lovely move down the right-wing.
The Blue and Claret army then had two good chances to equalise, with Wesley hitting the side of the net and captain Grealish heading just wide.
Sheffield’s Fleck doubled in the 73′ and Villa again got a great chance to pull one back from the penalty spot after VAR awarded them a penalty after the ball struck the arm of Egan.
However, Jack Grealish struck the crossbar from the spot and the Blades then saw the game out.
Zimbabwe defensive midfielder, Marvelous Nakamba was played until stoppage time.
Villa could be in the bottom three if Southampton manage to get a point at home to West Ham this evening.
