South Africa-Based Frank Buyanga Hauled Into The VP Chiwenga-Marry Divorce Case
South Africa-based businessman, Frank Buyanga has been implicated in the divorce case of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and estranged wife, Marry Chiwenga nee Mubaiwa.
Zim Morning Post reports that an unnamed source reportedly close to Chiwenga family said that Buyanga who runs a sprawling real estate empire had been assisting Marry to identify properties in South Africa.
Meanwhile, Buyanga’s attorney, Estee Maman, from Maman Attorneys said allegations that his client scouted or purchased properties in South Africa on behalf of Marry were unfounded. Maman said:
I am fully acquainted with the details of Mr Buyanga’s properties and the purchases made and can verify that this statement and claim made is false and completely baseless.
The former model is in remand prison until December 31 for intending to upgrade her marriage status without the consent of her husband, money laundering, attempted murder and externalisation of funds.
She has since denied the allegations saying that they were Chiwenga’s way of forcing her out of the marriage.
