Convicted Cop Fights Dismissal

A police officer who was dismissed after he had been convicted of domestic violence is fighting his dismissal the Chronicle reports.

Represented by Tanaka Law Chambers, the ex-cop’s founding affidavit in which Minister Kazembe, Commissioner Matanga and home affairs ministry’s permanent secretary Aaron Nhepera were cited as respondents Mthulisi Moyo said:

…The first respondent ought to have considered the facts of the case, my clean work record and the circumstances surrounding the case and the submission made. I therefore submit that the decision and conduct of the first respondent cannot be countenanced and as such I should be granted the relief sought
