Pr_stitutes' Group Urges Members Not To Have Permanent Boyfriends
A Chiredzi-based anti-HIV s_x workers peer educators group is urging its members not to have permanent boyfriends in a bid to prevent new infections.
A group peer educator under the National Aids Council and Ceshaar sponsored programme, Constance Mada, who is popularly known as Tete Mada in the town said:
We … discourage the idea of having a permanent boyfriend because at the end, there are high risks of the partners getting used to each other and ending up having unprotected s_x.
FeedbackWe also encourage the s_x workers to get tested for HIV and how to deal with rogue clients as some of them end up being raped and robbed.
The group claims to have registered 1 148 s_x workers who meet every Wednesday sharing information on the profession.

The young pr_stitutes come from areas such as Chikombedzi, Save, Maripati and Jerere districts.
