'Mnangagwa Doesn't Want To Talk To Mbeki Anymore'3 years ago
Speaking to NewZimbabwe.com’s Agenda Programme on Monday in Harare, Biti said that when Mbeki visited Harare last year, Mnangagwa said he wanted to consult his party first before committing to dialogue, but has been silent since. Said Biti:
Emmerson is not interested in dialogue. President Mbeki was here in December. Emmerson said to President Mbeki he needed time to consult his party that was in December, we are now in February.Feedback
Mnangagwa is no longer even taking President Mbeki’s calls.
Mbeki visited Zimbabwe in December 2019 where he met both Mnangagwa and MDC leader Nelson Chamisa separately.
