Coronavirus May Spread Through Normal Breathing And Speaking - US Scientists
A top US scientist Anthony Fauci, head of infectious diseases at the National Institutes of Health, told Fox News this Friday that the novel coronavirus might spread through the air via normal breathing and speaking.
Fauci’s comments come after the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) sent a letter to the White House on April 1 that said the results of available studies are consistent with the view that droplets of the virus from normal breathing can spread the virus.
The development can, therefore, result in everyone needing to wear face masks and maintain social distancing since the droplets are likely to fall to the ground when people or objects are at least one metre apart.
