The Chinese government has rejected claims that it is mistreating Africans resident in the country and chasing them out of hotels in Guangzhou because of the colour of their skin.

China has dismissed the reports saying the issue is just a misunderstanding, as some Africans are refusing to go onto health surveilling apps because they don’t have valid immigration status.
