Malawi To Repatriate 90 Citizens Held In Zimbabwe Quarantine Facilities
The government of Malawi will reportedly repatriate 90 Malawian Citizens out of Zimbabwe’s quarantine facilities, New Zimbabwe reports.
This was confirmed by Malawi Ambassador Zimbabwe Annie Kumwenda who said:
We are processing travel documents for a group of 41 Malawians that were intercepted by security forces on their way to South Africa
FeedbackThe group of 41 Malawians would be deported alongside a group of other immigrants already held at Zimbabwe’s isolation centres.
The ambassador was reportedly responding to reports that 14 Malawians had gone on a hunger strike after they were isolated at a quarantine facility in Masvingo
