"That Is Our Source Of Danger," - Health Minister On Returnees
Zimbabwe’s Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr Obadiah Moyo has said returnees and truck drivers are putting the country at the risk of the novel coronavirus as they are coming from most hit countries.
He said the country needs a solution to deal with the situation since it is not possible to stop them from coming back home. He said:
These people who are coming from South Africa and Botswana I really want to point out very clearly that that is our source of danger.
FeedbackThis is where we are going to get the majority of cases as was shown before we even had these deportees and returnees coming into the country. So far the highest number of positive cases is coming from is coming from amongst the returnees ad its an issue to all of us.
The minister also suggested that truck drivers were smuggling in foreigners thereby putting the country at a huge risk.
