Zimbabwe's COVID-19 Cases Have Jumped To 132
Zimbabwe’s confirmed coronavirus cases have dramatically jumped from 63 to 132. The development was announced by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa during a post-cabinet media briefing.
Yesterday the country had 63 known cases after 7 people, returnees from South Africa who are quarantined in Beitbridge, had tested positive for the virus.
Minister Mutsvangwa also reported that the 76 new cases have been recorded in the Beitbridge, Masvingo and Harare.
She added that all the new cases, except for one that was locally transmitted, have been registered among returnees from mainly South Africa and Botswana.
