NetOne Boss Fired Hours After Being Reinstated

NetOne CEO Lazarus Muchenje has been fired, ZimMorning Post reports. Muchenje was reinstated yesterday and  the government had reportedly dropped all charges against him and he had resumed duty today before he was fired again.

A source that spoke to the publication said;

He was suspended and challenged the suspension. The issue went to court leading to his reinstatement on Thursday as per procedure. Then on Friday the board followed due process and terminated his services.

Muchenje is facing 7 charges of corruption and has been in court with the MNO arguing that his suspension was not procedural. The board reportedly followed all procedures in firing him today.
