WATCH: 1st Locally-Owned Chocolate Factory In DRC "Says People Think Chocolate Can’t Be Made In Africa"

Aisha Kalinda, who owns the first locally-owned chocolate factory in the Democratic Republic of Congo has said:

People have that ignorance of looking at chocolate like it’s something from abroad, that can’t be made in Africa.

This comes at a time when Africa is being urged to add value to its natural and raw materials so as to have maximum benefit from its resources.
