Oppah Did Not Test Positive For COVID-19 - Zanu PF
The ruling party has dismissed reports circulating on social media that the Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri- Kashiri has tested positive for COVID-19, The Herald reports.
In a tweet dismissing the rumours the ruling party said:
Let it be known that this is not only false, but misleading. While this pandemic is merciless with no regard to age or rank, Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri is healthy, doing her duty in the #Covid-19 National Taskforce in fulfilment of the mandate given by HE President Mnangagwa.
FeedbackSocial media reports had adversely claimed that Muchinguri Kashiri tested positive for COVID-19 after her daughter was diagnosed with the disease last week. The Defense minister has not yet commented on the issue.
