Support Pours In For Siza Khoza's Son
Former Highlanders legend Sizabantu Khoza has been humbled by the support he got from concerned Zimbabweans, Highlanders fans, friends and family after he pleaded for support for his son Bonginkosi who is suffering from septic arthritis, the Chronicle reports.
Siza appealed for assistance as he said Bonginkosi who was diagnosed with septic arthritis in May needed wound dressing and they had incurred a huge bill when young Bonginkosi was hospital earlier this year.
The campaign according to the publication raised R3 750, US$1 560 and $15 500 as football administrators, Highlanders’ supporters locally and abroad, ordinary members of the public, social football clubs in the Golden Oldies Social League, former and current players, Bosso players that played alongside Siza in the 1990s came to Bonginkosi’s assistance.
Thanking the overwhelming support Siza said:
I just want to truly humble myself before everyone who landed a helping hand to my son. I can’t mention each and every one by name because they are just too many. May the Lord bless you abundantly. My son is on the road to recovery and I am sure soon he will be out of hospital. He is a jovial little man who loves his football and with your kind gestures, I am now confident that the dream remains alive, ngiyabonga bantu bakithi
