Diarrheoa cases have increased in Queens Park Suburb in Bulawayo amid reports that they are being caused by water shortages, the Daily News reports.

This was contained in Bulawayo City Council minutes seen by the publication that reads in part:

The community health worker for Queens Park alerted the area environmental health officer on concerns that a number of people seemed to be suffering from diarrhoea in the area. The concern was investigated and confirmed.

No deaths have been recorded so far and the government is yet to say anything about the possible outbreak, Bulawayo is having a dire water shortage crisis which the government promised to solve to help the country’s second-largest city.
