South Africa Records Over 2.5k COVID-19 Cases
South Africa on Sunday recorded 2 563 new coronavirus/COVID-19 cases bringing the total number of the known cases to 787 702.
COVID-19 death toll rose by 38 to 21 477.
Over 730 000 people have already recovered.
This was announced by that country’s Health Department in a statement. Te Health Minnister, Dr Zweli Mkhize tweeted:
As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID19 cases is 787 702, the total number of deaths is 21 477 and the total number of recoveries is 730 633.
