Lone Gunman Robs Puma Service Station Of US$1 000

A lone gunman reportedly robbed Puma service station in Marondera central business district (CBD) of US$1 000 cash on Saturday.

The suspect who has been identified as male, reportedly entered the office at around 8:45 pm, holding a black plastic bag.

The robber allegedly pulled a gun out of the plastic bag and aimed it at two employees who were on duty.

He ordered the duo to surrender all the money they had, and they gave him US$1 000.

The suspect then threatened to shoot anyone who tried to follow him, before he melted into the darkness.

Mashonaland East police spokesperson Inspector Tendai Mwanza confirmed the incident and appealed for information that may lead to the suspect’s arrest.
