We Did Not Liberate This Country To Surrender It - Matemadanda Sensationally Declares
Zanu PF political commissar Defense Ministry Deputy Minister Victor Matemadand has sensationally said they(the war vets) did not liberate this country to donate or surrender it to Chamisa, Newsday reports.
Matemadanda was speaking at the Zanu PF Mashonaland East provincial co-ordinating committee meeting in Marondera on Sunday when he took numerous jabs at the youthful opposition leader including saying his party is melting like a candle and they (the ruling party) are not yet done.
Addressing the meeting Matemadanda said they (war veterans) did not liberate this country to hand over the country if anyone entertains that thought they may need to go through a mental exam. Said Matemadanda:
Now he (Chamisa) is crying accusing Zanu PF of being behind his demise. You think that we liberated this country to surrender it? If that is the case then we need to be examined by psychiatrists.
Do you think that we missed a greater part of our youth days liberating this country to donate it? Are we donors? We will defend ourselves.
Matemadanda has previously been caught making such statements including saying elections will not remove Zanu PF from power he was sued for his statements and he said he meant to say Zanu PF will find other peaceful ways to stay in power if they lose elections.
