'Big-hearted' Nakamba Commended By UK Journalist
UK journalist Ashley Preece has commended Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba’s gesture of paying school fees for 1 000 Zimbabwean schoolchildren, saying the Warriors star has a big heart.
Nakamba, through the Marvelous Nakamba Foundation (MNF), paid tuition for 1 000 underprivileged pupils across the country, a gesture hailed by Preece, who is also the Aston Villa correspondent. He tweeted:
You’ve got a big heart, Marvelous! Nakamba’s Foundation paying school fees for 1,000 underprivileged children in his native Zimbabwe, helping families who are in desperate need.

MNF worked closely with school heads and teachers to select the beneficiaries and all of them were drawn from schools in underprivileged communities around the country.
Nakamba said he will sponsor more pupils in future if funds allow.
Nakamba, through MNF last December, also undertook to pay the fees of Prince Edward School wunderkind Kuda Musikiri, up to tertiary level.
