Slight ground frost occurred in Kezi and Gweru this morning with clear skies and calm winds being observed across the country.
FORECAST FOR TOMORROW THURSDAY 06 MAY 2021,
Clear skies should be predominant across the country with some scattered clouds expected to develop over extreme northern parts of the country.

It should be cold in the morning with a chance of slight ground frost in frost-prone areas (Marondera, Masvingo, Matopos and Henderson).
IMPACTS
- Temperature fluctuations between night and day may affect the health of vulnerable members of society such as young children, the elderly and ill persons.
- Cold weather conditions negatively impact poultry animals;
- Soil moisture was slightly increased due to almost countrywide light showers
ACTIONS TO TAKE
- Please ensure that vulnerable members of society are kept warm during these wintry nights.
- Poultry producers should note that broilers are sensitive to temperature variations and therefore need to be checked regularly and adjustment made.
- While soil moisture has slightly reduced the occurrence of frost; farmers in frost-prone areas are encouraged to have frost preventative measure in place.
