Dead Man's Phone Lands One In Trouble
Two suspected murderers were recently nabbed after they robbed a Bulawayo man of his Hisense cellphone and killed him.
The two men sold the cellphone to a resident who was later arrested by police after he was found in possession of the stolen phone. The suspect implicated the two armed robbers.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) warned members of the public against purchasing second goods without making sure that the products are “clean”. The police said in a statement:

On 29/06/21, Police in Bulawayo arrested a man (35) after he was found in possession of a Hisense cellphone which was stolen through a robbery in which the suspects attacked and murdered the complainant, before stealing his cellphone.
Police tracked the two suspects only to discover that they are currently detained at Khami Remand Prison for two other separate murder cases.
