Pictures: President Mnangagwa Attends APC Service Led By Paul Mwazha
President Emmerson Mnangagwa this Saturday attended the African Apostolic Church service led by Arch Bishop Paul Mwazha at Ndarikure tabernacle in Churumhanzu.
The Church service was also attended by congregants from Zimbabwe and around the World.
Speaking at the event, the president said unity and peace are essential in the rebuilding of the country’s economy. Pictures credit: Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.
Analysts say the president is attending church events to rally support for the ruling ZANU PF ahead of the 2023 elections.
Mnangagwa’s predecessor, the late Robert Gabriel Mugabe, also frequented churches, especially during elections.
The Mwazha-led church is one of the biggest churches in Zimbabwe and support from congregations would increase ZANU PF’s chances of winning the polls.
