ZERA Announces New Prices Effective 19 September 2022
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has reviewed the prices of diesel and petrol (Blend-E20) with effect from 19 September 2022.
ZERA issued another update on the 18th of September.
In a most recent update seen by Pindula News, the authority said the price of diesel remains at US$1.74 per litre while the price of petrol also remains at US$1.52. Only prices in Zimbabwean dollars were raised. Reads the statement:
PETROLEUM PRICES – 19 September 2022
Please be advised of the fuel prices for diesel and blend effective 19 September 2022. The prices are as follows:
ZWL US$ Diesel 50 (ZWL/litre) Blend – E20 (ZWL/litre) Diesel 50 (US$/litre) Blend – E20 (US$/litre) Maximum prices 1 052.29 920.98 1.74 1.52 The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio remains at E20. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations.
