Wayne's Death: Hamilton High School Student Remanded In Custody

A 17-year-old student from Hamilton High School who allegedly stabbed a learner from Founders High School has been remanded in custody again.

The student appeared in court today on 27 February facing a murder charge, the Chronicle reported.

He was further remanded in custody to 9 March.

In his initial appearance on 15 February, the Hamilton High School student had been remanded in custody until today (February 27, 2023).

The boy, who cannot be named because he is a minor, allegedly stabbed Wayne Ndlovu (16) in the neck on 13 February during an inter-school turf war involving learners from Founders and Hamilton high schools.
