News:Mugabe Leaves For NAM & UN Summits As Mawarire Calls For Anti-Mugabe Protest During UN Summit

<vote /> President Robert Mugabe left Harare for Islha Margarita, Venezuela yesterday for the 17th Non-Aligned Movement Summit, where he will join 120 Heads of State and Government and/or their representatives for crucial meetings that seek to give a greater voice to the world’s emerging economies. The President and First Lady Grace Mugabe are accompanied by senior Government officials.

The Non Aligned Movement has 120 member states and was established in 1961. It is the largest international organisation after the United Nations, and its Summit this year takes place on the eve of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly in the US.

Meanwhile Pastor Evan Mawarire is planning to hold a protest when Mugabe goes to New York for the United Nations Summit. Mawarire is expected to be joined by Thomas Mapfumo and Patson Dzamara. He has called for Zimbabweans to come in their numbers to protest. Watch the video below:
