Prosper Mkwaiwa was a Zimbabwean businessman music promoter who was based in South Africa up to the time of his death. He is said to have died after a short illness.
Background
The businessman was traditionally married to Tina Dlangwana but was also said to be still legally married to former wife Tina Jaxa. Mkwaiwa has two children from his marriage with Tina Jaxa.[1] Mkwaiwa was also said to have been a qualified engineer.[2]

He is said to have a been a plant manager for Anglo American from 1996-2005[3]
The Accident
Mkwaiwa was said to have been involved in a car crash in 2014 in which Mkwaiwa was said to have been flung out of the car that he was travelling in.[4] The accident was said to have taken place in Pretoria.
The Shooting
Mkwaiwa was also shot in his hotel room together with wife Tina Dlangwana after the latter was said to have been followed by an intruder who demanded them to have sex in front of him.[5] The circumstances surrounding the shooting remained very obscure as Tina Dlangwana was alleged to have later on stated that Mkwaiwa was actually the one behind the shooting.
Controversy
Prosper was portrayed by the media as a very controversial character and on many occasions he was in the news for the wrong reasons. He dated a lot of celebrities in South Africa including Kelly Khumalo and even got engaged to her but the pair went separate ways after there allegations of Mkwaiwa's infidelity after. He was also married to popular South Afrcan TV actor Tina Jaxa with whom they had two children before parting ways[2] Mkwaiwa married Tina Dlangwana in 2010 but it was rumored that he was in the habit of dating other women and was always out partying.[2] At the time of his death, he had kicked out his wife Dlangwana as the pair was said to have been going through a rough patch.[6]
