Rob Burrell is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur, musician-lead singer for the (Mann Friday) rock band, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mukuru.
Background
During an interview with The South African.com, Rob claimed that he is a serial entrepreneur and tried to start a couple of business that failed before he formed Mukuru. He tried to start a Chess Café coffee shop, shoot an independent movie, create an advertising company, start a location company for the film industry, create a prepaid call-card to get around international call restrictions from Zimbabwe.[1]

Rob studied Bussiness Science at Rhodes University.
