Harare City appoints new coach

Sport Brief reports that Philani Ncube has been appointed the new coach for Harare City Football after the dismissal of Mike Madzivanyika.

Ncube who was previously Bulawayo City Football Club’s coach, was last year suspended provisionally by ZIFA for his alleged involvement in a match fixing scandal where he attempted to bribe Border Strikers goalkeeper Talent Sande ahead of a match between Border Strikers and Bulawayo City.

Harare City have so far collected seven points out of a possible 27 in the nine matches they have played this season. The team’s strike-force has scored only two goals so far.
