Activists In Court For Assaulting Primary Candidate Inside Zanu-PF Headquarters

Joseph Tagarira (34), Runyararo Muskwe (37) and Ashley Kudzai Svondo (19) appeared before Harare magistrate Victoria Mashamba facing charges of assault. The trio allegedly assaulted a candidate for the Zanu-PF primaries who had come to report alleged voting irregularities in his constituency.

The trio was granted $100 bail each and remanded to the 17th of May. They were not asked to plead.
