Coltart Dismisses Job Sikhala Death Rumours

MDC-T politician and former Education Minister David Coltart has dismissed reports that the MDC Alliance’s newly elected member of Parliament for Zengeza West Job Sikhala was found dead.

In a tweet, Coltart confirmed Sikhala was not detained and is in good health. Said Coltart:

I have just been assured by a senior diplomat that Job Sikhala is not in detention and in good health. I wish him and his family well. He is in my prayers.

Death reports started after Sikhala notified people via his Facebook account that there were armed men at his house in St Mary’s in Chitungwiza. Some alleged Sikhala had been found dead in Mukuvisi River.
