Zanu-PF Is Supreme Than Govt: Khaya Moyo Hints New Zanu-PF Departments Headed By Former Ministers Will Direct Govt Policy

Zanu-PF secretary for Information and Publicity Simon Khaya Moyo said the party is supreme than Government following the announcement that some former ministers had been redeployed to work as full-time employees at Zanu-PF Headquarters.

Khaya Moyo said Government is the product of the party and the party derives its power from the people. Said Khaya Moyo:

The party and Government will now have to work as a thoroughly oiled machine, bearing in mind that Government is a product of the party. The party is always supreme because it derives its authority from the people, as they always say ‘from the people we come and to the people we shall go’. This is not a new phenomenon here. You will find it in other countries such as South Africa and China, so that there is always smooth running of the affairs of the State.
