We’re receiving reports that the Zimbabwe government has ordered internet companies to shut down the whole internet.

- 4 Major internet providers: Econet, NetOne, Telecel, TelOne all block access to the whole internet. People can call each other but can’t access the internet at all.

Both women and men are being beaten. Many have fled from their homes. Most have not been able to get to hospital. People have been shot by armed police and were prevented from going to hospital. The State has shut down social media to prevent this getting out. #shutdownZimbabwe

- There are several reports that the social media sites have been blocked on government controlled networks: TelOne, NetOne and Africom.
- Reports from Bulawayo, Harare, Mutare, Beitbrigde and Gweru are that the cities are mostly closed as Zimbabweans stayed at home
