Civil Servants Demand US$475 For October 2019 Salary - Report
Civil servants continue to make demands and of late demand that the government pay them an equivalent of $475 as their salary for October.
As the civil servants and the government enter into a crunch negotiating meeting today, Apex council spokesperson said they won’t waiver from their US$475 request.
We will stick to our position of US$475 for the October 2018 salary for the lowest-paid worker be multiplied by the interbank rate as is happening with all goods and services.
FeedbackSimilarily Doctors are making similar demands and have been on strike for over 40 days now. The government is yet to respond to these demands.
