MDC Loses 90-year-old Veteran Party Supporter

Veteran MDC supporter, Mbuya Murwira also known as Mai Chipo, of Glen Norah has passed away at the age of 90.

MDC president Nelson Chamisa wrote on microblogging site Twitter:

Sad to note the passing on of a veteran in the great Chinja family, Mbuya Murwira (aged 90) or Mai Chipo as they call her in Glen Norah.

She will always remind us that the demand for change is from all ages..and not just the young! This is a people’s struggle!
