'We Should Brace For A Spike In Violent Crimes' - ZANU PF
The ruling ZANU PF party has predicted a spike in violent crimes due to the high number of unemployed youths.
A health, child welfare and the elderly report tabled during a recent party meeting characterised the hordes of Zimbabwe’s unemployed youths as “ravenous and dangerous”. It said:
This includes the use of harmful substances, including alcohol by youths who are mainly not employed.
FeedbackThe situation is a very serious health disorder and a danger to the future generation, owing to substance abuse, the youths have become very unproductive and destructive.
… needless to say, if this goes unchecked we should brace for a spike in violent crimes.
