Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update: 13 December 2021

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 13 December 2021:
- 4 872 New Cases (All local) and 2 Deaths reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases rises to 4 344 from 4 013 (yesterday).
- Vaccination Update: 10 909 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 966 929 while 11 398 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 988 370 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 12 December 2021, 01500hrs there were 242 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (50), Asymptomatic 25, mild to moderate 199, severe 17 and 1 in Intensive Care Units.
- 13 289 tests done today (Positivity today was 36.7%)
- 175 new recoveries: National Recovery rate falls to 76% & Active cases go up 37 321.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 172 012 Cases 129 951 recoveries & 4 740 Deaths.
