Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update: 14 December 2021
Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 14 December 2021:
• 5 678 New Cases (All local) and 6 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average’ for new cases rises to 4 580 from 4 344 (yesterday).
• Vaccination Update: 13 988 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 980 917 while 10 268 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 998 638 as at 1600 hrs.
• As of 13 December 2021, @1500hrs there were 355 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (78), Asymptomatic 36, mild to moderate 286, severe 21 and 12 in Intensive Care Units.
• 16 793 tests done today ‘Positivity today was 33.8 %)
• 328 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 78% & Active cases go up 42 666.
• As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 177 690 Cases 130 279 recoveries & 4 74 Deaths.
