Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update 27 December 2021

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 27 December 2021:
- 1 098 New Cases (All local) and 17 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases goes down to 1 481 from 1 651 (yesterday).
- Vaccination Update: 2 008 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 105 020. 1 790 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 113 149 while 3 943 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 3 943.
- As of 26 December 2021, 1500hrs there were 376 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (28), Asymptomatic 59, mild to moderate 253, severe 60 and 4 in Intensive Care Units.
- 3 416 tests done today (Positivity today was 32.14%)
- 4 506 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 81% & Active cases go down 33 824.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 205 449 Cases 166 717 recoveries & 4 908 Deaths.
