ZERA Is Looking For An Assistant Accountant
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is looking for an assistant accountant. In a job vacancy notice seen by Pindula News, the authority said interested candidates should submit their applications on or before 12 February 2023. Reads the notice:
VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is a statutory body mandated to ensure the provision of a level playing field for safe, reliable and sustainable energy supply through effective regulation. ZERA seeks the services of a highly competent. professional and results-oriented individual who is able to take the organisation to higher level in the following role:
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT: GRADE 6
Reporting directly to the Accountant, the Key Job Functions of this position will be:
• Financial Reporting
• Cash Flow Projections
• Requisition Checking
• Inventory Management
• Compliance to statutory and Authority’s policies.
• Bank Reconciliations
• Debtors and Creditors Management
• Asset Management
• Document posting
• Budget Management
• Management Accounting.
Key Job Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:
• Accounting Degree or full professional qualification
• At least 4 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of SAP ERP System is a must
• Good communication and IT skills
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be person of high integrity.
