Jusa Dementor is an award winning Zimbabwean born music producer and musician based in the United Kingdom. He has worked with prominent local and international artists such Red Rat, Beenie Man, Tuface, Winky D, Vybz Kartel, Lady Saw and Dizzy Dee just to mention a few. He is also the founder of ABBRA TRIBE which strives to promote self-belief, unity and creative entrepreneurship among Zimbabweans.[1]

Background

Jusa Dementor was born Tawanda Sibotshiwe on the third of June in 1983.[2] He did his primary education at Gateway Primary School before moving to Dudley Hall in Norton. He then proceeded to Kutama College for his secondary education. He graduated with a Joint Honors Degree in Marketing and Broadcast Media from the University of Derby.[3]

Career

Jusa Dementor has been a music producer for a long time and in that period he worked with Zimbabwean artists in the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe.[2] He has also worked with internationally acclaimed artists such Red Rat of the "Rise Up Zimbabwe fame" and Nigerian sensation Tuface. Apart from music production, Dementor also writes music and is said to have written about 120 songs which are yet to be released. One of the career highlights of Dementor's career include the production of the Evidence riddim which carried tracks by international superstars such as Demarco, Jah Vinci, and I Octane.[4] He has als co-produced riddims with other talented Zimbabwean producers such as ABRA Sims of ABRA Records to produce purple hayyz riddim which featured superstars such as Anthony Moses Davies, popularly known as Beenie Man.[5]
