Traversal Trading Pvt ltd t/a CAS Contractors is a well-established Zimbabwean company into construction, civil engineering, and hardware supplies, providing innovative engineering and infrastructure client solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Finance

  • Reviews and analyses monthly financial reports including budget forecasts to ensure they are accurate.
  • Manages the operational functions of the finance and administration (F&A) department to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Reviews and analyses monthly financial reports including budget forecasts to ensure they are accurate.
  • Performs monthly budget variance analysis to ensure the expenditures are within budget.
  • Provides recommendations and consults with senior management on financial projects and compliance reviews for the office.
  • Develops and implements process improvement plans to ensure effective financial controls and operational procedures.
  • Designing, implementation and managing accounting and other financial internal controls that support effective decision making.
  • Receive requests from the various user departments and understand specific needs so as to plan the procurement of requirements accordingly within the correct specifications.

Administration

  • Provide oversight of Administration department ensuring there is process alignment across all activities for example Logistics, Projects, Building and Maintenance.
  • Manage all company infrastructure and oversee its procurement process.
  • Ensure compliance of the administrative policies and procedure manuals.
  • Ensure registration requirements are kept current at all times and files statutory returns and renewals.
  • Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • CA/ CPA/ ACCA or any other relevant professional accounting qualification
  • 8 to 10 years of professional experience.
  • At least 5 years management experience in a similar reputable organization.
  • Must be fluent in English, with strong interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills Relevant computer software skills.
